    However, given that this could all happen in a summer when Rice leaves, it’s going to be a huge task for Moyes to have a strong and settled squad for next season.

    “Because he probably knows that David Moyes is reaching the end of the line there, but they have surveyed the options and decided, ‘now is not the right time to make a change, who is the best person to keep us in the Premier League, David Moyes.’

    “I think he will probably do that and at the end of the season, they will shake hands, and they will go in a different direction.”

    Moyes reportedly doesn’t agree with pre-season tours abroad and much prefers to stay in Britain, resisting foreign trips in the past.

    This could be a hint of the Hammers’ plans for Moyes but it remains to be seen what will happen.

    The big Hammers front man plundered a brace in the first leg of the tie against Larnaca, but that evidently didn’t impress fellow striker, Wilson.

    “Pub team, he can only score against pub teams. Against Larnaka, I’d have had 5,” he said on the Footballer’s Football Podcast.

    “This Europa League Conference thing, you’re playing guys who are working at the bars on the pleasure beach and the next minute, they are playing a football game against you.”

    It was a brutal put down but thankfully taken in the manner intended.

    Antonio’s goals might well be enough to fire the Hammers to outright glory in the competition, but David Moyes would surely prefer that the net was being found more regularly in the English top-flight.

    With a dozen games left to play in the Premier League, West Ham are still very much in the relegation dog fight, and have some very tricky games ahead.

    So far not so good for West Ham’s towering Italian striker, Gianluca Scamacca, who could be on the verge of a switch back to his homeland.

    With just three Premier League goals to his name all season, per WhoScored, the 24-year-old clearly hasn’t been the striker to answer David Moyes’ prayers.

    Indeed, during recent games, Scamacca has barely featured, managing a cumulative 85 minutes in the Hammers’ last three English top-flight games per WhoScored.

    That type of output has no doubt contributed to the east Londoners’ lowly position in the table, and will surely hasten his exit this summer.

    According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Internazionale of Milan may seek to revive their interest in the former Sassuolo man, and West Ham may not lose out either.

    Inter front man, Edin Dzeko, a player well versed in what it takes to succeed in the Premier League, is apparently unhappy at the club’s offer of a one-year deal, and wants two years in order to continue his story with the neroazzurri.
