    The agent of Mohamed Salah, Ramy Abbas Issa, has labelled rumours about the Egyptian leaving Liverpool at the end of the season if they fail to qualify for the Champions League as “nonsense”. 

    A report from Fichajes stated that Salah would be willing to leave the Merseyside club in the summer should the Reds fail to qualify for the Champions League and that PSG are interested in the 30-year-old winger, who could be bought for around €80m.

    Salah’s agent has now responded to the report on Twitter and has labelled it “nonsense”, and stated that not qualifying for the Champions League next season hasn’t even crossed their minds

    Issa said: “Nonsense. This was never discussed or thought about. Not qualifying to the Champions League hasn’t even crossed our minds.”

    Salah only signed a new contract with the Merseyside club last summer, keeping him at Anfield until 2025, but that has not stopped the rumours from swirling; according to his agent, the plan is not to leave as of now.

    A rumour recently emerged that Maguire was close to joining Aston Villa, but Romano has now denied these rumours, claiming Maguire is set to stay at Manchester United for now, as seen in the tweet below.

    Maguire will undoubtedly be frustrated at the lack of game time at Manchester United, but Erik ten Hag won’t want to lose a squad player in January, especially a player with the leadership skills of Maguire.

    The England international has regularly captained his club since moving from Leicester City, so losing a player with his influence wouldn’t be a smart move.

    However, there will come a point where Maguire becomes fed up of warming the bench, so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him leave in the future.

    Roma director Tiago Pinto has addressed rumours linking the Italian club to Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo.

    ESPN recently reported that Manchester United were looking to sack Ronaldo after his recent explosive interview with Piers Morgan which saw the Portuguese forward call out multiple members of the club.

    Ronaldo fired shots at Erik ten Hag, the Manchester United hierarchy and even ex-players, including Wayne Rooney and Gary Neville.

    The 37-year-old has of course been heavily linked with a move to multiple clubs, but Roma director Pinto has denied all rumours linking Ronaldo with a move to the Italian club, as seen below.

    It’s going to be difficult for Ronaldo to find a new club if he was to leave Manchester United, with the Daily Mail reporting that he is earning around £500,000 a week. In his prime, clubs would have snapped Ronaldo’s hand off to sign him despite the hefty cost, but there’s no doubt that he’s showing signs of declining as a player.

    It’s a huge risk signing Ronaldo at his age, so taking a pay cut may be his only option to finding a new club after leaving Manchester United.
