Upon returning from the locker room, Régis Le Bris offered himself a good squad review and it paid off: Senegalese striker Sambou Soumano put the two teams back on par (2-2, 50th). Shortly after the hour mark, it was Tom Lebeau who allowed the Thoniers to come back in front (3-2, 65th) before Adil Aouchiche converted his penalty to see Lorient come back up (3-3, 79th) . A prolific draw that allows both teams to prepare as well as possible just a stone’s throw from the start of the Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 season.
