Parti à la fin de son bail avec les doubles champions de France en titre, l’attaquant-vedette avait le choix pour sa fin de carrière, entre un retour au FCB ou un exil en Arabie saoudite. Il a finalement choisi de découvrir la MLS sous les couleurs de l’Inter Miami, propriété de l’ancienne gloire anglais David Beckham.
