West Ham United are keen on signing the Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha this summer.

According to reports, the Hammers are keen on signing the 27-year-old Premier League midfielder and they have launched a £40 million bid to sign the player.

The Portuguese international has been an instant hit since his move to Fulham and he could prove to be a quality addition to the West Ham midfield as well.

The Hammers have sanctioned the departure of Declan Rice recently and they will need to bring in a quality replacement.

Palhinha has already proven himself in the Premier League and he should be able to make an immediate impact at West Ham.

The Hammers will be competing in the Europa League next season and they need to elevate the quality of their squad. Palhinha will add physicality and defensive cover to their midfield.

The 27-year-old has been one of the first names on the Fulham team sheet and it remains to be seen whether the Londoners are prepared to sell him for the reported £40 million offer from West Ham.

Jake Paul Announced Micro-Betting Company Betr US Launch

Bovada LV Score $750 Welcome Bonus

Social-media-persona-turned-boxer Jake Paul, along with the founder of SimpleBet Joey Levy, are behind the newly-formed micro-betting company Betr. It’s a two-pronged attack on the sports betting industry – one branch that will be focusing on sports media content, and the other – on sports betting.

Beta App Live in the US

The app is providing players with coins to make their wagers, which can then be redeemed for various prizes. Along with the app’s beta launch in the US, Betr announced on its social media accounts a “Betr Jeep” giveaway. The conditions for entry are to download the app and make your micro-bet – is the first play of the NFL season going to be a “run” or a “pass”, with Jake Paul saying towards the end of the promotional video that he has “$250,000 on the line.”

To turn this idea into reality, Jake Paul and Joey Levy have reportedly raised over US$50 million, with names such as Aliya Capital and Florida Funders on the list of investors, along with big-name football players such as Dez Bryant, DeSean Jackson, and many more. Most probably Joey Levy will be focused more on the business side, while Jake Paul focuses on being the face of the endeavor. While you’d expect a big part of the money to be spent on developing a long-term growth strategy and customer acquisition, it’s important to remember that this is a Jake Paul company, after all.

    Sports Content Meets Micro-Betting

What is micro-betting anyway? It’s basically not your average prediction bet about the final outcome of a sports match and more like betting live on minute details and developments during a match – every punch, drive, play, pass, etc. Of course, this is not really the first time in which micro-betting is entering the sports betting world per se, but it’s certainly a great focal point in the company’s marketing of its product.

Of course, it also helps when Jake Paul goes in front of a camera and says that he has “singlehandedly revived boxing” followed by the loud statement that now “it’s time to reinvent the sports landscape” with a “Betr” alternative for the sports betting experience. Yes, the name is open to a lot of word play and people tagging Betr’s Twitter seem to like it, with every other tweet containing puns using the name.

Apparently, Betr’s “sports media content factory” is definitely going to be quite a bit different from most sports coverage. Jake Paul himself has said that he wants to disrupt the “uptight professional environment” and instead provide content from a more naturalistic point of view, with him saying he wants to “do workouts” with the athletes and interview them during their workouts, providing a unique insight on “why that makes them special.”

If that’s caught your attention, the show will be called the BS Sports Show but you can find it much more easily on YouTube. The channel is called “BS w/ Jake Paul” and at the time of writing it has already garnered more than 2 million subscribers.

The launched beta version of the Betr app is available to download for free at the betr.app website and our own first impressions with the UI is that it’s definitely more modern-looking and incredibly intuitive – not what you’d expect from a beta product. And the modernistic theme is embedded in the user experience as well, with the product looking at its competition as “legacy gambling” and
    “legacy media”.

PayNearMe, a modern and reliable billing and payments platform, has received approval to offer its solutions to operators in the state.

    PayNearMe Goes Live in Kansas

The Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission allowed the provider to supply operators with its acclaimed MoneyLine payment solution. This will allow gambling operators and B2B companies to use MoneyLine as soon as sports betting launches in the state.

Kansas legalized sports betting on September 1, allowing a number of operators to take bets from sports enthusiasts. The state will also launch online sports betting a week later. Kansas, furthermore, marks the 20th state where PayNearMe’s solutions are available.

With sports betting now live, customers in the Sunflower State can now wager with some of the best operators in North America. This notably includes companies such as Butler National, Catena Media and DraftKings, among others. The approval of PayNearMe’s MoneyLine solutions will allow companies to have a higher degree of flexibility when it comes to payments

    A Timely Approval

Michael Kaplan, chief revenue officer and general manager of PayNearMe, noted that the next few days will be busy because of the launch of sports betting and the upcoming National Football League season. This means that there will be high traffic of money as many fans will be placing bets on their favorite teams. Considering this, Kaplan said that he is delighted to launch PayNearMe in the state and support the local operators from day one of Kansas sports betting.

Enabling our clients to go live on the same day Kansas residents can place online wagers ensures they will be able to seamlessly manage the millions of dollars projected to be wagered online in Kansas over the next year.

Michael kaplan, chief revenue officer, PayNearMe

Kaplan mentioned that his team has been working hard to make sure its solutions are well-suited to help operators process the huge sports betting handle.

Connor McNulty, PayNearMe’s COO and vice president of legal, also shared his thoughts on the matter. He noted that PayNearMe is very experienced with payments within the gambling industry and has worked closely with the Kansas regulator to ensure its solutions are compliant with the statutory requirements. He added that fast approval times are a top priority for the company as more states launch their own sports betting and online gaming markets.

One of the latest operators to pick PayNearMe’s MoneyLine as its preferred payment solution is SaharaBets, which inked an Arizona-facing agreement with the provider.

The state of Kansas prepares to launch its own sports betting market this September. As a result, operators are now preparing for the big event, with each one hoping to grab the lion’s share of customers in the state. DraftKings, a sports betting juggernaut, is among the companies waiting to foray into Kansas’ fresh market.

The Operator Prepares to Launch in Kansas

DraftKings just announced its plans to launch its critically-acclaimed sportsbook once sports betting goes live in the Sunflower State. The operator’s launch is still subject to regulatory approval but the company is optimistic about joining Kansas ahead of the National Football League season. The state is set to become the 18th state where its online sports betting offerings are available and the 19th state where it offers sports betting.

DraftKings has long eyed the Kansas market. A few months ago, the company announced a sports betting deal with Boot Hill Casino, a tribally-owned venue in Kansas, that will allow the operator to launch in the state. Boot Hill also has agreements with Bally’s Corporation and, most recently, with Golden Nugget Online Gaming.

Once Kansas’ sports betting market officially launches, sports betting fans in the Sunflower State will be able to play with some of the most renowned operators in North America, including DraftKings. The latter’s mobile app can be downloaded for both iOS and Android devices and will offer exciting experiences for sports enthusiasts.

DraftKings Is Excited About Kansas Sports Betting

Matt Kalish, co-founder of DraftKings and acting president of DraftKings North America, said that the company is thrilled by the opportunity to offer its “award-winning” products in the state. Kalish noted that the launch of Kansas’ sports betting market coincides with an especially exhilarating time of the year, namely the NFL season. He is happy to launch in the state just in time for the beloved sports league.

It’s an especially exhilarating time of year, and we are excited for eligible Kansans to be able to get in on all the action through DraftKings’ seamless and responsible sports betting experience.

    Matt Kalish, president, DraftKings NA

DraftKings already teased news about the promotions it will offer to clients in Kansas. Eligible players can pre-register and benefit from $100 worth of free bets. To elaborate, customers will get four free bets worth $25 each. In addition, a single lucky customer will be drawn for a $100,000 free bet on launch day.

In early August, DraftKings published its financial results for the second quarter of the year. The company’s business seems to be doing great, making it a very convenient time to foray into new markets.

  • Kansas Ready to Launch Sports Gambling on Thursday, September 1

Kansas Ready to Launch Sports Gambling on Thursday, September 1

Claim 100% up to $1,000 in Casino Bonuses on your first THREE deposits

Kansas is cheering at the prospect of launching its own sports betting industry. In fact, there’s no prospect – there is a certainty. On Friday, Kansas governor Laura Kelly confirmed that the state will begin a soft launch this Thursday, with mobile sports betting to follow on September 8, or next Thursday.

Retail and Mobile Sports Betting Coming to Kansas

The State Lottery has already confirmed the companies that have obtained sports betting licenses and have been cleared to launch. As per Senate Bill 84, each state-operated casino will have both in-person sportsbooks and up to three sports betting apps. There are currently four casinos in the Sunflower State.

Hollywood Casino in Kansas City has teamed up with Barstool Sports to offer both in-person sportsbook and mobile sports betting experiences. Meanwhile, Kansas Star Casino in Mulvane will work closely with FanDuel to provide both a retail and interactive wagering experience.

There is also Boot Hill Casino and Resort in Dodge City which has struck a partnership with DraftKings and is currently awaiting regulatory approval for the launch of Golden Nugget Online Gaming (GNOG), a DraftKings subsidiary.

Kansas Crossing Casino in Pittsburg though seems to have the most online sports betting entities teaming up with the company, with BetMGM, PointsBet, and Caesars all opting for this property. Kansas is the latest state in the US to have been cleared and is now launching in the re-regulated sports gambling market.

This is a fortunate development because, even though the state sports a small population, it’s still good for Kansas to make sure that it offers residents sufficient betting options at home.

The fact that Senate Bill 84 offers both remote and land-based betting options indicates that there has been a deeper change in lawmakers’ perception of the industry, one unimpeded by old-fashioned ideas such as “in-person registration.”

Still, there has been some pushback, particularly from the Attorney General’s office which spoke of “significant issues.” Despite all of this, though, Kansas is well-tipped to launch its sports gambling industry without further issues and on time for the first NFL games which will start on Friday, September 9 with the Los Angeles Rams taking on the Buffalo Bills.
